Autism & Other Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Identification, Diagnosis & Management in the 21st Century
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) with other neurodevelopmental disorders which was the focus of the 3-day workshop organized by the Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CCAMH) in June is undoubtedly one of the most serious child mental disorders. ASD can manifest in various ways which include hyperactivity, impaired communication, self-harm, isolated play and a penchant for sameness.

The Centre recently completed an mhGAP training for the M.Sc and Pg. Dip. CAMH students. Two of our faculty members, Dr. Jibril Abdulmalik and Dr.Yetunde Adeniyi who are experienced trainers facilitated the training exercise.
