Abiodun Adewuya, MBChB, FWACP, FMCPsych is a psychiatrist with special interest in perinatal mental health. He had his undergraduate education and postgraduate clinical training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife. Nigeria. He also underwent a one year research fellowship at the Institute of Psychiatry (IOP), London.
He presently teaches medical undergraduates and postgraduates at the Lagos State University College of Medicine. His clinical and research interest had been in areas of gender
Adebayo Adejumo, RN, MHSc, PhD, FWACN is a Clinical and Developmental Psychologist based in the Department of Psychology, University of Ibadan. He holds a BSc degree in Nursing, after which he bagged Masters and Doctorate degrees in Psychology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
He also attended the Joint Centre for Bioethics, Institute of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada where he obtained a Master in Health Science with specialization in Bioethics through a NIH -Fogarty scholarship in 2004/05.
Adebola Orimadegun, MBBS, MSc. (Ibadan), PG Dip. Clinical Trials (LSHTM), FWACP, is a Research Fellow / Lecturer at the Institute of Child Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and an Honorary Consultant Paediatrician to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr. Orimadegun joined the University of Ibadan in 2008, with a remit to conduct research and teach Paediatrics and Child Health at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. After joining the University, he has had further training on epidemiology and clinical trials.
Ademola Ajuwon earned the Bachelors of Science (BSc) degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos in 1984, Master of Public Health (MPH) and PhD in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1990 and 2000 respectively. Professor Ajuwon has been a scholar at the Department of Health Promotion and Education, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan since 1991.
He teaches health communication, ethics of public health research and delivery of reproductive health service. He is also a member of the faculty of the West Africa Bioethics Training Program, an NIH funded project. read more

Akinyinka Omigbodun, MBBS, FWACS, FMCOG, FAS, an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ibadan. He had his postgraduate training at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, the University Hospital of South Manchester, UK and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. Brian Robertson qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Cape Town in 1961, and as a psychiatrist and child psychiatrist at McGill University, Canada, in 1972. From 1973 to 2004 Brian was on the staff of the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health at the University of Cape Town, firstly at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, and from 1989 as Head of Department at Groote Schuur Hospital. Folake Tafita, LL.B., LLM (Toronto) BL, is a law teacher and researcher of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her areas of interests include women and children’s rights, sexual and reproductive health rights, health law and policy. Before her legal education, she trained as a nurse at the University College Hospital Ibadan, Nigeria and obtained a Diploma certificate in Nursing. This experience informed her decision to pursue a degree in law with a bias for medical negligence and health law. Gauri Divan, MBBS, MRCPCH is a pediatrician who has been working in the field of developmental and behavioural pediatrics. She is based in Sangath, a non-governmental organization, working primarily in the field of child development, adolescent health and mental health. Sangath’s key mission and expertise lies in developing and evaluating interventions for childhood developmental disabilities (DD) and mental disorders across the life course, to be delivered through existing public systems. Grace Adejuwon, B.Ed. MSc. PhD (Ibadan) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. She is a consulting developmental psychologist for children, adolescents, undergraduates, youths, and families with psychological concerns. After completing her undergraduate in bachelors in Science Education she was actively involved in teaching children and adolescents. She qualified as a Medical Doctor at Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Ogun State University (Olabisi Onabanjo University) and trained as a Psychiatrist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. She has special interest in psychotherapy and as a result, went for further training in the United Kingdom where she obtained a Merit in MSc. Psychological Therapies at the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine, Queen Mary University of London. John Oyundoyin, B.Ed, M.Ed, Ph.D (University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria) is a Senior Lecturer in the field of Intellectual Disabilities and education of the gifted and talented children and youth. He has been teaching in the University since 1997 at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also been involved in the assessment of children and youth in the child clinic of the Department of Special Education, University of Ibadan. Kofoworola Adediran, MBBS (Ibadan), M.Sc, FWACP is a medical research fellow with the Institute of Child Health in the College of Medicine of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She underwent her residency training in paediatrics at the University College Hospital and her Master degree is in Human Nutrition. Prior to her appointment in the Institute of Child Health, she worked in the pediatrics unit of Adeoyo Specialist Hospital Ibadan, a secondary level health care facility in the sub urban area of the city, where she was further exposed to the health problems confronting children in the community.

Olayinka Egbokhare, B.A., M.A., Ph.d., (IBADAN) lectures in the Department of Communication and Language Arts, University of Ibadan. Her research interests cover areas such as Media Effect Studies, Public Speaking, Advocacy, Writing as Communication, Advertising Message Development and Gender Issues. She has taught courses along these lines of interests both at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. She has worked with UNICEF as a consultant on its Interpersonal Communication intervention on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT of HIV).
Patricia Ibeziako, MBBS is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an Associate in Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital Boston. A graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Dr Ibeziako completed her general psychiatry residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, USA and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
