Cornelius Ani


Cornelius Ani is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Berkshire in the UK and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Imperial College London. Dr Ani has training, clinical and research experiences in Nigeria and the UK, and his qualifications include MBBS (Nigeria), MSc (University College London), DCH (UK), MRCP (Paediatrics), and MRCPsych. He holds a Research Doctorate Degree in Medicine from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
He has extensive experience of developing and delivering post-graduate educational programmes in several Universities including Imperial College London, University College London, Roehampton University London, and University of Ibadan. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Surveillance System (CAPSS). Dr Ani has delivered several invited presentations at national and international conferences. His current research interest is on the development of psychosocial mental health interventions in Low and Middle Income Countries.
